Frequent Business Travelers -High Rates of Obesity

Employees who do extensive business travel have an increased risk for obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

According to a recent study they were 92% percent  more likely to be obese and more likely to have  high cholesterol and blood pressure.

More than 130,000 employees from a corporate wellness program were involved in the study to compare health risks  of business travellers.

Researchers found that those who travelled extensively were also 260 percent more likely than light ...

Behavioral Intervention Can Manage Weight Gain in Pregnancy

Experts are considering adding behavioral intervention to pregnant women as a part of standard prenatal care.
This new approach will allow women to manage their weight during pregnancy and to return to their pre-pregnancy weight.

This step is as a result of a recent research report which found  that the intervention helps normal -weight women manage their weight gain during and after pregnancy.
