When it comes to losing weight and keeping it off calories count. To control weight there must be a balance between calories eaten and calories used, to lose weight means burning more calories than you consume.

Exercise is the way to burn calories and build stronger muscles. How much exercise you need depends on how much you eat and your activity level. If you consume 100 calories per day more than you need, 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day could keep the weight off.

Exercise Now Will Prevent Weight Gain In Middle Age

No need to wait until middle age to go on an exercise program to control weight then, according to a recent study it can be done in early years.

According to a report working out in the present can reduce weight gain in the future, in middle age.

Researchers followed 3,554 people age 18-30  over 2 decades and found that physical activity over the years can reduce weight gain in middle age.

Highest Levels of Obesity In Europe-Report

The United Kingdom is ahead of other European countries by having the highest levels of obesity.

The fattest region in Europe is the West Midlands in England.

According to the Association of Public Health Observatories 29% of adults are obese compared to the European average of 14 %.
